The responsibilities of the Digital Capabilities Building & Awareness Section include:

• Leading digital capacity building and awareness projects and initiatives in order to enhance national enablers in the field of digital transformation, ICT and building digital skills, in addition to highlighting the efforts of the digital government.
• Designing and managing the strategy and roadmap of TDRA Virtual Academy and the initiatives related to its implementation and work to make it a leading national initiative for the purpose of building and empowering trainees, attracting and embracing talents and developing their digital skills.
• Supporting digital transformation by designing, providing and participating in capacity development solutions, and offering a various training programs and activities in coordination with partners from the government, private and academic sectors, for example (short self-learning courses, interactive remote or virtual training programs and camps, labs for trainees and accelerators) for the purpose of building digital capabilities and skills of various segments of society on digital transformation and services, including employees of government and private sectors, as well as students and the public.
• Preparing and adopting a framework of digital government knowledge and content management to serve digital awareness.
• Cooperating with universities, research and development centers and private sectors inside and outside the country with the aim of adapting modern digital technologies and solutions and leveraging them in capacity building and digital awareness.
• Establishing partnerships with various stakeholders, including but not limited to (the Prime Minister Office and the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources) for the purpose of cooperating with government entities and ensuring the inclusion of their employees in various training programs.
• Representing TDRA and the UAE in organizations and forums related to digital capacity building and awareness for the purpose of improving the reputation and highlighting efforts of TDRA and the UAE and strengthening the UAE’s leading position in the field of digital transformation.
