Bachelor's Degree

TDRA’s ICT Fund has launched “BETHA program” that aims to enhance the national education sector by supporting UAE academically distinguished cadres to drive the country’s education in ICT related disciplines, in order to meet the ICT sector’s annually growing needs, as well as the increasing demand for ICT specialized national human resources.

BETHA program is in line with ICT Fund’s strategy to support human resources specialized in ICT, including computer engineering, electronic engineering, computer science, information technology, and many other disciplines.

ICT Fund has invested massively in BETHA program to allocate hundreds of undergraduate and master's degrees at prestigious UAE and international universities in the United States, Japan, Australia, the United Kingdom and other leading countries in the industry.   

Documents required for admission:

  • Full Acceptance/Admission Letter (Conditional or partial Approvals are not accepted)
  • Certified High school Certificate for undergraduate students certified by the Ministry of Higher Education or equivalent (showing the final result)
  • Transcript for students continuing the undergraduate program (an official transcript that contains the seal (stamp) and signature of the registers office.)
  • Family book (all filled pages)
  • Official IBAN letter under the name of the student that contains the seal (stamp) and signature of the bank.

 

Admission requirements for the undergraduate (Bachelor’s) Degree program:

  • Should be a UAE citizen and provide a civil registry as a proof
  • Has achieved a minimum score of 75% in secondary school certificate or its equivalent in schools
  • Should apply for a specialization in the field of telecommunications and information technology
  • Graduated from secondary school or its equivalent during the last three years
  • Not employed
  • Should not have received a scholarship or other financial assistance from any other entity.
  • (For Males) No objection letter (NOC) from the National Service Authority or letter of completion.

 

For on-going bachelor students:

  • CGPA – 3.0 and above with considering:
  • major courses (B and above at least for major courses).
  • At least 15 credit hours.

 

Students who have not been selected may apply again after at least one semester of university study, with a GPA of no less than 3.0/4.0.
