Emirates ICT Innovation Center EBtIC

EBTIC is a jointly established research and innovation centre by BT, ETISALAT and Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research (KUSTAR). It is located at the Abu Dhabi Campus of KUSTAR with management and research staff from BT, ETISALAT and KUSTAR.

EBTIC aims to advance intelligent systems technologies for the Next Generation Networks (NGNs) and NGN-enabled ICT applications and services, in order to put in place the support infrastructure to facilitate, develop and enable the Digital Networked Economy in the UAE and beyond.

Through collaboration with industry, universities and governmental organisations, EBTIC is expected to become a driving force for innovation in the field of NGN enabled ICT applications and services, both within the Middle East region and beyond.

National Space Science and Technology Center, United Arab Emirates University

The National Center for Space Science and Technology was established at the initiative of the United Arab Emirates University, Emirates Space Agency and the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) represented by ICT Fund. The Center's priority is excellence in space science, and it serves as an incubator for research, development and innovation in space, leadership in space engineering and technology, and innovative solutions to societal challenges.
